4 Simple Steps Agents Can Take to Earn Connectivity Recognition

Here are the 4 simple steps you need to take to become an Ivans Connected agency:

  • Step 1: Access Ivans Exchange
    The first step is to access Ivans Exchange™ and indicate how you want to handle download. You’ll see a “DL” for lines of business currently downloaded and an “A” for potentially available connections. For every cell with an “A” that your agency is interested in receiving download from, select “WANT.” For any “A” cell that your agency is intentionally not downloading, select the applicable code from the dropdown menu – for example, “Do Not Want” or “Not Writing.”

  • Step 2: Let Carrier Partners Know You're Interested in Download
    Every carrier that provides policy download, should provide the supporting transactions, eDocs, Claims and Direct Bill Commission download. If you don’t see a code in the box, click on it and select “Want”. A WF, “Want Future”, will let your carriers know you want new download options.

  • Step 3: Work with the Ivans Connections team to Start Receiving Download
    If you have questions about your Ivans Connections Report, email connections@ivans.com.

  • Step 4: Add Agency Codes to Your Ivans Exchange Account
    With new capabilities within Ivans Exchange, we have added one more step to add agency codes. Just click the menu in the top right corner of Ivans Exchange (which looks like three horizontal lines) and select “Agency Profile.” Select the Carriers & Codes tab. You will see the carrier’s name and an active code count. Click on the carrier toggle arrow to show their applicable companies and NAICS. Click “View Codes” to load the code subtab and edit or add a code. Watch our video for more details on how to add agency codes to your account.
