The 2025 Ivans Connect™ in Las Vegas was an unforgettable experience! It wasn’t just another user conference; it was a vibrant gathering where customers, partners, and colleagues collaborated to spark innovative ideas. Whether seasoned attendees or first-timers, everyone played a role in dynamic discussions about the future of digital distribution and servicing. We explored what’s next for Ivans® and how those advancements will impact our community.
In case you missed us at Ivans Connect or would like a refresher, I wanted to share some of the exciting topics we covered.
Powering Connectivity and Collaboration
When I think about what makes the independent agency channel so unique, one word comes to mind: collaboration. As Steve Jobs once said, "Great things in business are never done by one person; they're done by a team of people." Like I mentioned in my keynote, when you change the words just a little bit to “great things in business are never done by one company. They’re done by a team of companies,” it really sums up Ivan’s role in the industry.
This collaborative spirit is what drives everything we do at Ivans. Today, we connect more than 700 carriers and MGAs with over 38,000 agency accounts and their technology partners. That's thousands of companies working together each day to achieve great things.

Solving for Better Agency-Carrier Data Delivery
Years ago, Ivans began with a simple mission to solve the problem of carriers and agencies not having an efficient way to share insurance information. Without integration, agencies had to manually key information or pull it from different sources, wasting time and creating potential errors.
Ivans Download™, our original solution keeps getting better and we’ve expanded far beyond downloading policy and claims data. I was excited to share our recent Ivans Download product updates at Ivans Connect. We're continuing to enhance this foundation with:
- Universal login support, allowing you to access your licensed Ivans products
- Multi-factor authentication for additional security and compliance
- Single sign-on capabilities that work not just across Ivans systems and with your own systems (coming soon)
- A more modern UI with improved navigation
Leveraging Our Data Set for Industry Insights
A few years ago, when we spoke with carriers about how Ivans could better support their sales and marketing efforts, we discovered that carriers wanted industry insights to expand business relationships.
Leveraging the industry’s largest, most accurate view of in-force policies/premium across commercial and personal lines of business through Ivans has allowed us to offer industry insights that the industry was looking for. The first solution we created was to help carriers expand relationships using industry insights. Partnering up with a team of carriers, we launched Ivans Marketing Insights, a solution that helps distribution teams execute growth strategies and identify new opportunities. One of our fastest-growing solutions, Marketing Insights, addresses needs across both personal Lines and commercial lines carriers.
And based on customer feedback, our product team continues to iterate to provide new enhancements each quarter, including:
- More robust filtering to help you identify the right opportunities
- API access to dashboard data, allowing you to integrate this information with your internal systems
Driving Smarter Product Decisions
In more recent conversations with carriers – particularly with your product teams – another theme came through loud and clear: you’re looking for access to information to drive smarter product decisions.
Many product teams are analyzing their own competitive and market data, but struggle to understand how their prices relate to a broader data set. To solve for this, we’re excited to announce the launch of Ivans Insights – Benchmarks to help your product teams make more informed decisions. Unlike other solutions that tend to focus on quotes and models, Ivans Benchmarks utilizes aggregated, bound policy, premium data.
Let’s say your product team is analyzing homeowners’ policies in Texas and they want to compare your premiums to a broader data set. With Ivans Benchmarks, you can drill into detailed reports to uncover premium ranges and trends to inform your overall pricing strategy.
Ivans Benchmarks features include:
- Premium Trend Reports – Identify trends and changes in average policy premiums across geographies, lines of business and risk attributes.
- New Business vs. Renewal Premiums – Analyze average premiums for new and renewal policies to uncover growth opportunities.
- Monthly Premium Distribution – Delivers views of how premiums align on a spectrum, showing percentages higher or lower than averages.
We’re launching first with personal lines Homeowners and Dwelling Fire and will be adding Personal Auto and commercial lines in the future. We had demo stations at the Applied Net expo hall, and it was exciting to see the positive reactions.
Beyond Product Updates at Ivans Connect
At Ivans Connect, we celebrated Reid Holzworth and Cal Durland as they both get ready to retire from their roles at Ivans. Both have contributed to Ivans in many ways and we wish them the best in their retirement. AI was also a major theme at both Ivans Connect and Applied Net, with great discussions around how products like Cytora are creating new opportunities to leverage AI across the digital roundtrip.
