BlueZone serves as a secure, fully-featured Web-to-host and TN3270 desktop terminal emulator, translating Medicare claims from your computer into a format readable by Medicare's systems.  By using BlueZone, you can directly connect from your P.C. to Medicare's systems, while avoiding charges that would be assessed if you connect through certain Network Gateways to Medicare (depending upon the setup required by your Medicare Administrative Contractor.) 

BlueZone as an FTP Solution for Batch Claims Submission
BlueZone also operates as a File Transfer Protocol (FTP) solution for healthcare providers that want to do batch claims submission (submitting multiple claims at the same time) with Medicare.  Once you've prepared your Medicare claims as normal, you simply "drag-and-drop" the claims file into the BlueZone screen and hit the "send" button.  BlueZone takes care of the rest and then returns a confirmation once the files have been received by Medicare's systems.  With BlueZone you can submit claims, receive remittance advice, and view various claims status reports online.
